Come along and join our team of volunteers at the Lochaber Rural Education Trust.
Your contribution to the Trust would be greatly appreciated. As a volunteer at the Trust you can choose to assist in one of many activities .Do you have some valuable skills you could share? We carry out a wide variety of fun activities and rural skills. We would value as much or as little time as you can spare. Please get in touch arrange to come up and visit us find out more about us. Listed below are some of the areas you could get involved in.
Garden maintenance, general weeding and keeping the raised beds tidy
Working alongside experienced volunteers with the schools and young children
D.I.Y. (there are always odd jobs we would love help with)
An extra pair of hands at our many events (from setting out tables to making cups of tea)
Do you have a craft you could demonstrate at one of our holiday clubs for children
A craft you could demonstrate at an adult skills day
The above are just a few ways you could help.
Full training will be given if needed and you would report to the Chair of the Lochaber Rural Education Trust. A car is not essential as there is a good public transport service which gets you a short walk from us. Volunteering is a great way to share your skills and knowledge or come along and learn some new ones.
